WebCT Public CE6 Technical Training
Overview
WebCT Campus Edition 6 features exciting new changes in teaching and learning functionality, as well as technical infrastructure.

This four day workshop for database and system administrators provides the necessary hands-on skills and information for effectively supporting a WebCT Campus Edition 6 production deployment, to maximize system performance and minimize down time.

The system architecture of WebCT Campus Edition 4 varies greatly to that of WebCT Campus Edition 6. The technical training will leverage production management best practices needed to effectively run the new WebCT Campus Edition 6 environment.

The first day of the workshop is facilitated by Gwen van der Merwe, a WebCT Senior Certified Trainer. This training is primarily geared towards the WebCT administrators (GUI training).
The last three days will be taught by WebCT technical staff, specially flying in from the USA for the event. These 3 days are primarily geared towards system and database administrators due to its high level technical content.

The hands-on workshop will take place over 4 days:

Day1: Administrators (27 March)

Cost:
• Full 4 day training = R8900.00 per person
• Day 1 only = R2225.00 per person
• Day2-4 only= R6675.00 per person

• Accommodation and travel expenses are not included in this cost
• We must have at least 10 people to run the workshop. Registration closes on the 10th of February 2006 and if the course is undersubscribed, we reserve the right to cancel it. Delegates would be promptly informed.
